*Wide-range* Bellissimo Blue Celadon Glaze

Bellissimo Blue Celadon is a soft-toned, easy-to-use blue-green glaze suitable for both beginners and experienced ceramic artists. It can be applied by brush, sponge, drops, or hand printing, and works beautifully on textured surfaces.

Tested at Icewood Atelier:
Samples were brushed in three coats and finally dipped in clear crackle glaze, fired at 950 °C. The result on smooth clay was uneven, but on lace-textured surfaces the glaze developed a beautifully glossy and nuanced finish. Blue Celadon is therefore best suited for reliefs or textured decorations where its tone can shine.

Shake well before use and dilute with water if needed. Apply one to three coats on bisque ware. Three coats produce a deeper color and stronger gloss.

Firing range 950 °C–1250 °C (Orton SSB cone 08–6). At higher temperatures the color may become lighter, so a small test firing is recommended.
