Each sheet can be cut into smaller motifs or used as a full pattern. The designs transfer cleanly onto leather‑hard clay with minimal effort, making it easy to achieve professional, hand‑painted‑looking results in minutes.

Underglaze Transfer Paper – Instructions

Suitable for:

• Bisque-fired ware (800–1000 °C)
• Dry greenware (fully dried, unfired clay)

Method 1  – Bisque-fired ware

1. Clean the surface
2. Lightly dampen
3. Apply the transfer
4. Attach the colour with a damp sponge, dab, don't wipe!
5. Carefully remove backing paper
6. Allow to dry completely
7. Apply clear glaze
8. Glaze fire at 1060–1300 °C

If you are unhappy with the results after following these instructions, you can also do extra firing after applying the underglaze and after that clear glaze and fire again.

Method 2 – Dry Greenware

1. Form the piece
2. Dry completely
3. Apply the transfer
4. Attach the colour with a damp sponge, dab, don't wipe!
   
5. Remove backing paper
6. Let dry
7. Bisque fire
8. Glaze with transparent glaze, fire at 1060–1300 °C
