A tested glaze-layering duo for stoneware, straight from Icewood Atelier's own test pieces. Three coats of Chun Plum, then three coats of Indigo Float on top — the two Potter's Choice glazes react together into a deep indigo-blue surface breaking over a warm plum-red base, pooling into dark blue-black drips where thick and revealing rust and cream tones where the glaze runs thin.

How this combo was tested:

Three coats of Chun Plum, then three coats of Indigo Float on top over the full surface, fired Cone 5–6. Always fire your own test tile first — results vary with clay body, application thickness, kiln atmosphere and cooling rate.
