"Fishpond" building set for pottery

This tool set is designed for creating extra‑thick clay slabs, perfect for hand‑building projects that require strong, sturdy forms. You will get 4 different tools: 3 cutters and 1 shaping tool.

 

The main cutter is engineered to slice a thick piece of clay (cutter height is 26,5mm), and it is accompanied by a half‑circle shaping tool with handle. This additional tool helps you refine edges, compress the surface, and achieve clean, controlled curves.

 

For best results, you can pair this set with 15 mm thickness guides, which ensure your clay slab stays perfectly even throughout the cut.

 

If you want to make this a hanging ornament, we recommend using strong hooks for heavy pottery like: High-Temperature Hanging Hooks for Ceramics and Glass – up to 1350 °C – Icewood Atelier - 8/1.01mm. You can see these hooks in the example images.
