Hexagon Clay Mold with Snowflake Pattern (Mold & Cutter Sold Separately)

This hexagon-shaped clay mold features a crisp snowflake pattern designed for decorative ceramic work. The mold allows you to transfer the pattern cleanly into clay and then continue shaping the piece directly in the mold.

 

The pattern is transferred by placing shaped clay upside down into the mold and gently pressing the surface with fingers or a soft tool until the design transfers into the clay. The clay should be plastic and workable, not too dry. After the pattern has transferred, the clay can be turned over and placed back into the mold for final shaping.

 

The mold is relatively shallow, so newspaper is usually not required, but it can be used if it helps with releasing the clay.

 

The mold size is approximately 16 cm. The matching cutter is available separately, allowing you to purchase either the mold, the cutter, or both depending on your needs.

 

This tool is 3D printed from biodegradable PLA.
