Botz 9866 Strandgut (Driftwood) is a stunning, high-temperature matte glaze that offers a soft, natural aesthetic. It features a sandy light beige base with tender brown effects that emerge on thinly applied areas or edges. This glaze is exceptionally stable and provides a sophisticated, organic look to any stoneware or porcelain piece.

Key Features:

• Appearance: Matte, natural sandy beige with delicate brown transitions.
• Firing Range: Stable from 1220°C to 1280°C.
• Food Safe: Excellent for functional tableware, such as mugs and bowls.

Technical Specifications & Tips:

• 1220°C: Slightly brighter and more opaque.
• 1250°C: The "sweet spot" for a delicate play of effects.
• 1280°C: Develops deeper greyish effects and more visual depth.
• Application: Apply 2–3 layers. For best results, fire at 1250°C with a 30-minute soak (holding time).
