Colorobbia Fairy Dust – Metallic Effect Glaze

The new Colorobbia Fairy Dust line allows you to achieve stunning metallic effects on your ceramic projects.

For an intense effect, apply 2–3 coats of the product. A clear glaze overcoat is not necessary.

Tip: the sparkling particles can settle and pack down at the bottom of the bottle over time, so shake it very vigorously before use. If shaking alone hasn't been enough, you'll see it: a darker, compacted layer left at the bottom. Squeeze specifically the bottom of the bottle while shaking — squeeze the bottom, shake, squeeze the bottom, shake — to break that layer up.

It can be used in combination with other glazes or applied over glazes.

The metallic particles in the formula can easily contaminate other glazes. We recommend using dedicated brushes that are not used with other glazes. Even small residues on a brush may transfer metallic particles to other work.

Lead-free and suitable for food-contact surfaces.

Firing temperature: up to 950–1000 °C.
