Everything you need to make a lemon or lime shaped serving tray or dish from clay: a matching cutter and slump mold set.
Cut your rolled slab with the lemon/lime shaped cutter, then press the cut piece down onto the slump mold — since the mold is slightly smaller than the cutter, the edges gently rise up as you press, giving the piece a soft curved tray shape straight out of the box. The mold's edges are rounded, so the tray forms a smooth, gentle curve where the sides rise, rather than a sharp bend.
As with any 3D printed tool, faint layer lines can transfer onto the clay surface. These are easy to smooth away afterwards with a damp sponge or soft cloth, if you'd like a perfectly smooth finish.
How to use:
- Roll out your clay slab and cut out the shape with the cutter.
- Place the cut piece on top of a thick piece of foam.
- Position the mold centered on top of the piece.
- Press down firmly and evenly so the edges form up around the mold.
Available in two sizes:
- Regular: cutter approx. 208 x 142mm, mold approx. 180 x 120mm
- Large: cutter approx. 250 x 167mm, mold approx. 230 x 154mm
Perfect for polymer clay and ceramic projects.
