Terra Bella Stonehenge is a stone-toned reactive glaze from Colorobbia's Terra Bella range, made for low-fire work with the look of a high-fire stoneware glaze.

Terra Bella glazes are designed to be layered. Our test piece pairs Stonehenge with Mystic White (553), fired at 1000 °C: the result is a soft grey-green surface with blue-grey variation and warm rusty speckles that bring out texture and relief beautifully.

Stir well before use and apply two to three coats on bisque ware. Firing temperature 950–1000 °C.

Food-contact safety:

For food-contact surfaces, we recommend applying a clear, food-safe Terra Bella glaze such as Mystic White (553) as a top coat.

Colorobbia ART products do not contain toxic materials or lead and are therefore suitable for the production of tableware.

However, the glazes are subject to a further processing/firing stage by the customer, over which we have no control. The final characteristics of the glazed item may therefore depend on the application, firing conditions and the combination of products used.

For this reason, the food-contact compliance of the finished item can only be assessed and certified by the customer on the final product, under the actual application and firing conditions.

Therefore, we recommend that the customer carries out the appropriate tests on the finished article, particularly for the intended food-contact use.
