Negative Tray v1 Mold – Different sizes

This negative round mold helps you create elegant platters or dishes with raised edges. 

 

Negative mold: A negative mold has a recessed shape that allows the clay slab to shrink away from the mold as it dries. This makes it a safe option, as the clay can remain in the mold throughout the entire drying process.

 

The molds are 3D‑printed from PLA.

 

Finding the right cutter: This mold is designed to work perfectly with our matching cutters. To create beautiful decorative plates or candle holders, we recommend choosing a mold that is 2 cm smaller than the cutter. This leaves the perfect amount of space for the clay to form those elegant scalloped edges.
