The listed dimensions are the size of the tool, i.e. the wet clay. Clay shrinks during drying and firing, usually around 5–15%, and the final size of your piece always depends on your own clay and firing temperature. For example, with a 10 cm size and 12% shrinkage, the finished piece would be about 8.8 cm. Please check your clay's shrinkage before ordering and choose the size accordingly.

This stencil features a classic traditional tonttu design, arranged as a repeating row of six elves. Each stencil is made to order and 3D printed from PLA. The stencil is available in three sizes so you can choose the version that best suits your project.
These stencils can be used for many creative purposes, including decorating clay slabs, adding repeating borders to pottery, making patterns on paper crafts, cardmaking, fabric marking, mixed media projects and general holiday crafting. The material is slightly flexible, easy to clean and suitable for repeated use.
