The listed dimensions are the size of the tool, i.e. the wet clay. Clay shrinks during drying and firing, usually around 5–15%, and the final size of your piece always depends on your own clay and firing temperature. For example, with a 10 cm size and 12% shrinkage, the finished piece would be about 8.8 cm. Please check your clay's shrinkage before ordering and choose the size accordingly.

A classic gingerbread-shaped clay cutter with an integrated support cross. The cross keeps the outline stable while you press, so the shape doesn't bend or distort – even in the larger sizes.
Designed for ceramics and slab work: perfect for gingerbread-shaped plates, serving trays, trivets, wall tiles and Christmas decorations. Roll out an even clay slab, press the cutter straight down, then lift it and gently release the shape.
Available in three sizes – approx. 10 × 10 cm, 15 × 15 cm and 20 × 20 cm, each about 2 cm tall. 3D-printed from durable PLA in our workshop in Finland, sturdy enough for larger clay projects too.
Not intended for food use.
