The listed dimensions are the size of the tool, i.e. the wet clay. Clay shrinks during drying and firing, usually around 5–15%, and the final size of your piece always depends on your own clay and firing temperature. For example, with a 10 cm size and 12% shrinkage, the finished piece would be about 8.8 cm. Please check your clay's shrinkage before ordering and choose the size accordingly.

Create your own beautiful soap dish with this wavy-edged oval mold set.
The set includes the main cutter and a center piece with holes for marking where to cut drainage holes. A matching drying support — used to hold the dish in shape while it dries — is available separately below, and you can order as many as you like.
Available in two sizes: 85.49 × 129.57 × 12 mm and a new larger 101.09 × 153.22 × 14.19 mm version. The same drying support fits both sizes.
This is a compact mold, and clay shrinkage during drying and firing will shrink the finished dish further — the small size works best for smaller soap bars. Choose the large size if you want more room.
Instructions
1. Roll out an even clay slab and cut the shape with the main cutter.
2. Place the center piece in the middle of the clay slab, use the holes to mark spots for drainage, and cut the holes.
3. Place the dish on the drying support while it dries — this helps keep the shape. Smooth the edges with a wet sponge if needed.
4. Let it dry completely, then fire and glaze according to your clay manufacturer's instructions.
