Bellissimo Sunny Tuscany is a high-quality, bright and easy-to-use glaze suitable for both beginners and advanced ceramic artists. It can be applied by brush, sponge, drops, or hand printing, making it ideal for workshops, studios, ceramic cafés, and schools.

Shake well before use and dilute with water if needed. Apply 2 to 4 coats on bisque ware. 4 coats recommended at least for high firing to produce a deeper and brighter surface, and an extra layer of clear glaze can enhance the gloss even more.

Firing range 950 °C–1250 °C (Orton SSB cone 08–6). At higher temperatures colors may turn lighter, so it’s recommended to make a small test firing before final application.

Important note! In the example image, there are two different images of different yellow glazes, so it would help you to see the difference. Limoncello is the smaller SUN and as you can see, it has the beautiful color of lemons.

📦 Bottle size: 236 ml

Bellissimo Glazes are lead-free and are considered safe for food contact, provided they are fired correctly according to the manufacturer’s instructions and used on properly glazed, functional surfaces.

Icewood's Pick

These Italian Colorobbia Bellissimo glazes are my personal favorites due to their vibrant colors and incredible ease of use. They are perfect for brushing and usually don't even require adding water. The finish is consistently smooth and beautiful straight out of the kiln.

I primarily use low-fire temperatures, where three layers usually provide a strong, solid color. These glazes also work at high-fire temperatures, but please note that they will likely require 1–2 extra layers (about 4–5 layers in total) to achieve the best results at higher heats.

I especially recommend the bright shades "Sunny Tuscany" and "Pumpkin Head". If you're looking for a deep red, "Strawberry Field" is stunning. It may require a few extra layers, but here's a tip: I used it for coloring raspberries with just two layers, and it created the perfect raspberry red!
