• Finish: Untreated. You can use it as it is, or apply a coat of varnish (e.g., marine varnish) if you wish to make it more moisture-resistant and easier to clean.
• Care Instructions: Wipe clean with a damp cloth or soft brush after use. Do not submerge in water or put in the dishwasher.

Tip: Untreated wood naturally absorbs a bit of moisture from the clay, which can help with a clean release. If you choose to varnish the plate, you can use a dusting of cornstarch or potato starch as a resist agent if the clay tends to stick.
